The Old Talbott Tavern was built in 1779. It is the oldest Western Stagecoach stop in America and home to the oldest bourbon bar in the world.
The Old Talbott Tavern has six overnight rooms available. Each of the six rooms are named after someone famous, or infamous, who has visited the Tavern. All rooms are furnished in period antiques and include modern luxuries such as private bath, cable TV, refrigerator, coffee maker, telephone and data port. Wifi available.
During the weekend the Talbott Tavern becomes a spirited place with live entertainment in the world’s oldest bourbon bar until 12:00 am. No pets allowed, unless they are an license service animal. We also have a sister property next door, The Talbott Inn, with 15 rooms.
