Visit Bardstown and Distillery Partners Shine During New York Media Event

— Visit Bardstown and its partners recently hosted a successful media mission in New York City that garnered the attention of renowned journalists and influencers from prestigious lifestyle, bourbon, spirits, and travel publications. The two-day media mission included an event that showcased Bardstown’s unparalleled charm, culinary expertise, and world-class distilleries, further solidifying the destination’s position as a prime location for bourbon enthusiasts and connoisseurs.

The brainchild of a collaborative effort between Bardstown’s distillery partners and Visit Bardstown, the Bourbon + Bites event was an innovative concept that seamlessly blended the art of distillation with the delights of local gourmet cuisine to promote what make Bardstown special. The event featured samplings of the Bardstown Collection from six distinguished distillery partners, Bardstown Bourbon Company, Lux Row Distillers, Heaven Hill, Log Still, Preservation Distillery, and James B. Beam Distilling Co. Each distillery contributed their unique expressions of bourbon, alongside a celebrated Bardstown-based chef Newman Miller, who curated an exquisite pairing of delectable bites.

Extensive media outreach ensured a strong presence at the event. An impressive lineup of journalists and influencers graced the occasion, hailing from distinguished outlets such as GQ, Robb Report, Food & Wine, InsideHook, Whiskey Advocate, VinePair, Fodor’s Travel, and Esquire. Their attendance underscored the event’s significance in the worlds of lifestyle, spirits, and travel, casting a spotlight on Bardstown’s unique offerings.

In addition to the Bourbon + Bites event, Visit Bardstown conducted individual meetings with top-tier national journalists covering travel, spirits, and more as part of the overall media mission.
