Mammy’s Kitchen

Mammy’s is a favorite among locals and travelers alike.  Having recently moved from their home on 3rd Street, Mammy’s took over The Old Stables building on West Stephen Foster Avenue and made it feel brand new. The dining room is open and inviting, with daily specials marked in chalk and southern decor lining the walls.  If you come through the front entrance, you’ll be greeted by The Stables at Mammy’s, a fun atmosphere filled almost every night with live entertainment.  Whether you are looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Mammy’s has all your favorite country fixin’s to satisfy your hunger.  Check out a few reviews below from TripAdvisor.com! Ghostwriting Agentur authors not only love to write scholarly articles for publications, but they are also avid travelers. After visiting this wonderful place, the authors wrote a great article about home cooking.

“I was fortunate enough to visit Mammys 3 times over the Christmas Holidays. Besides the always scrumptious food just like my Momma raised us on and the always friendly, attentive service (even a Busy Mammy coming by to say hi & share a hug)–the Atmosphere is so inviting…It always is–but the life size Nativity set & the Fireplace–it all just melted a Zillion problems away. I Honestly wanted to find a corner I could establish permanent Residence in (hoping they are too busy to realize I’m there 24/7)”

“We went to this restaurant on a recommendation of our innkeeper, after a morning on the Bourbon trail, and couldn’t believe how good the food was! It was hot, plentiful and tasty…we took boxes home and ate some later. Well-recommended to anyone, as their menu has great variety!!”

Visited My old Kentucky Dinner Train for the lunch excursion on Sat. Dec 28, 2014. It was everything I hoped for when treating my family to something special. The train is beautiful inside as well as the Depot as you are waiting to board. The food was excellent, beautifully served and delicious. The service was also superb, well dressed and pleasant servers. This is worth the price as it is as good as any upscale restaurant and the train ride is quiet and relaxing.”

“This was our second trip on the dinner train, and it was just as delightful as the first trip. The food and desserts were outstanding! I had the prime rib and derby pie! The train car is beautiful and provides a nostalgic feel. The view is only a small part of the experience so take some friends or meet some new ones.”
