“Meadows in the Bloom” at My Old Kentucky Home
April 8 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, repeating until April 11, 2021

This spring our special Victorian Easter tour, “Meadows in the Bloom” will showcase all of the fun and unusual Easter customs of the 19th century! See historic Federal Hill decorated for the Easter holiday! On display in the mansion’s parlor is our Easter tree with decorated eggs. See what are considered today to be highly odd, even weird, Easter greeting cards, and see a nearly 200-year-old Easter cross made of wax flowers and hand detailed greenery made by one of the original owners of the home. The mansion’s dining room will be decorated for an Easter dinner, with fine china, silver, flowers, and beautiful streamers in Easter colors. Tours are available every hour beginning at 9:00 a.m. (Last Tour begins at 4 p.m.). For more information visit www.visitmyoldkyhome.com or call 502-348-3502.
